Terms of purchase
MYGAIN is a downloadable digital product for use with Codex. The purchase includes the macOS and Windows packages available for the purchased edition, automatic updates until the next major version, permanent access to the private MYGAIN community, and one personal online setup session. OpenAI products, accounts, availability, and usage charges are separate.
Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments and shown as sold through Link. Stripe/Link handles the payment transaction, applicable indirect tax in supported jurisdictions, receipts, and transaction-level support. MYGAIN remains responsible for the product and product support.
No result produced with MYGAIN is legal, tax, accounting, medical, rights-clearance, or financial advice. The customer remains responsible for reviewing all work and approving every external action.
Digital delivery and refunds
Consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of the contract being concluded. To exercise that right, send an unequivocal statement to support@getmygain.com identifying the order and the email address used for the purchase. You may use this wording, although it is not mandatory: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for the purchase of MYGAIN, ordered on [date], under the name [name] and email address [email].”
MYGAIN is digital content supplied by download. The statutory withdrawal right only ceases when all legal requirements for immediate delivery have been met, including the consumer’s express consent to delivery before the withdrawal period ends, acknowledgement that this causes the withdrawal right to be lost, and provision of the required contract confirmation on a durable medium. If those requirements have not been met, the statutory withdrawal right remains unaffected.
Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. For a failed download, duplicate charge, unusable installer, or another product problem, contact support@getmygain.com so it can be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

The MYGAIN website processes the minimum information required to operate the site, complete and fulfil a purchase, provide support, and meet legal obligations. This may include contact and order information, the Stripe checkout-session identifier and payment status, delivery records, support correspondence, and technical request data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and security logs. MYGAIN does not receive full payment-card details.
The legal bases are performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax requirements (Article 6(1)(c)), and legitimate interests in secure, reliable operation and customer support (Article 6(1)(f)).
Stripe/Link processes checkout and payment information. Resend processes the buyer’s email address and delivery metadata to send product links. Airtable stores customer contact and order information for fulfilment and support. Cloudflare hosts the website, Worker, logs, and private download files. These providers may process data outside the EEA under applicable transfer safeguards.
Order and accounting records are retained for the periods required by Austrian law, generally seven years. Support correspondence and operational or security data are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, dispute handling, or legal claims, subject to provider-level retention settings.
The installed updater contacts getmygain.com about once per day to check for eligible releases. It sends the Stripe checkout-session identifier and a signed entitlement token, and receives release metadata and the update package through Cloudflare. This is used to deliver the purchased product, prevent unauthorized downloads, and keep it secure and reliable. The updater does not read or transmit artist-workspace files. Automatic checks can be disabled using the instructions included in the download.
Artist-workspace files are created on the customer’s computer. Their use inside Codex is subject to the customer’s OpenAI account, settings, and terms.
The optional MYGAIN community currently uses WhatsApp. If you join, other group members may see the phone number and profile information associated with your WhatsApp account. WhatsApp processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy. Community membership is optional and is not required to use MYGAIN.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Payment providers may use storage or cookies on their own checkout pages under their policies.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests by emailing support@getmygain.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
